The Addington County Revue

The Addington County Revue is a rock n' roll band from Canada. They live in separate cities and are known for their lo-fi vintage tones, blues and folk influenced songs and energetic live shows. Come visit us soon, wont you?

Welcome to The County.

Time moves a bit slower in the county. Everyone knows everyone, there’s no shortage of work to do and the music is good. Growing up together Mitch Arend and Evan Wise were reared on a steady diet of Blues, Folk and Classic Rock. In between fishing and feeding the chickens they trained their ears with vintage tones and cut their teeth on a lo-fi sound.

After traveling to the Big Smoke they met Mike Hurlbut and Matt Wheeler who had heard tales of the County, dreamed of playing their music, and desired to put on a show rather than just play a set. Since then The Addington County Revue has been putting on highly danceable Rock N’ Roll spectacles, that many claim to be “one hell of a good (sweaty) time.”

Now two new voices have joined the group. With the talented Katie Pearson and Andrea Smitko the Revue has gotten bigger and the music louder. ACR puts on shows and play songs that remind you Classic Rock, Folk and Blues are classic for a reason, that the sound may be old but it’s far from dead.

After all, time does move a bit slower in the county.
